Lined with multi-story coral-stone buildings featuring iconic wooden rawasheen balconies, it embodies centuries of Red Sea heritage and architectural ingenuity.

UAC was honored to contribute to heritage-sensitive installations in this revitalization project, crafting GRC elements—such as window trims, balcony accents, and façade panels—that harmonize with Al‑Balad’s coral-and-wood vernacular. Our lightweight, durable GRC solutions ensured seamless integration and long-term resilience in this culturally rich and vibrant marketplace.
