Overview
Located in the heart of Old Damascus, this historic façade restoration project aimed to revive a building of significant architectural heritage while maintaining its original style. The structure showcases characteristic arched windows, geometric stained glass inserts, and intricate classical detailing—hallmarks of Levantine urban architecture.
UAC’s Contribution
UAC was entrusted with designing and installing custom Glassfibers Reinforced Cement (GRC) elements to replicate the building’s original features. Each arch, column, and decorative panel was recreated using precision molds to reflect the traditional style while ensuring durability and resistance to weathering. The lightweight nature of GRC allowed for easy installation without overloading the aged structure.
